MING AND QING
MING
The Ming dynasty was founded after the fall of the Mongol led Yuan Dynasty, and was described by some as "one of the greatest eras of orderly government and social stability in human history". The Hongwu Emperor was the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The Ming's army had a standing army had over one million troops. The Ming dynasty was replaced by the Qing in 1644.

QING
The Qing dynasty was the last dynasty of China. Founded by the Manchu's, when they conquered China, the Qing Dynasty lasted up to almost 300 years. This Dynasty ran from 1644 to 1912, and was known as the dynasty that brought China from a medieval empire to a modern country.
